'Vino un barco cargado de gustos y se fue vacío'
(Spanish popular saying) It means something like 'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder'.
This blog brings together all of my preferences, experiences, caprices, trivialities and the like. Hope you enjoy it! :)
I remember being a child, I loved to see my mum's jewelry. My earliest memories are being cradled in her arms, I used to play with her necklace. It was a lovely bloom with a little diamond in its centre, that belonged to my grandmother.
I love vintage necklaces, that's why I will reveal a secret to you. There is a nostalgic boutique nowadays, and it is called: Les Jumelles.
This brand was launched by two twins sisters in 2009. Les Jumelles design wonderful pieces of jewelry with contemporary and vintage charms. They have a varied collection that includes necklaces and bracelets created by recycling vintage pieces with new parts as chains. Some of the beads, charms and pendants come from old warehouses. They have remained unopened in their original packaging for up to 40-50 years.
Now, I would like to show you my two choices. (I am not a sponsor of this brand, I've just written about this, because I'm very happy with my purchase and I thought that maybe my dear readers might be interested in buying something :)
I'm sure, I'll increase my collection soon. I didn't have any problem with them. They accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover or PayPal, even you can pay by bank transfer. It's a reliable brand, and the little treasures wrapped in delicate linen bags. I love Les Jumelles!:)
