You don't bug me baby

One month ago, I got a funny award called 'Blog Bug'. Who was the lovely blogger? Evangeline Michelle from 'The Fairly Young Grandmother'. 

What can I write about this blog? It's one of my favorites. Evangeline has Be-Bop spirit ;) She is an amazing vintage blogger and I realize, we share a lot of interests. This is the biggest reward,  Spain 'meets' Australia ;). Thank you so much darling!

I started to write this blog four months ago and I didn't expect to get these lovely awards...with my most sincere thanks...Here you go!

11 things about me:

1. I always wanted to write a vintage blog. I started to see makeup blogs, thanks to my sister Nata, because we are makeup nerds...but I would want to write a special one, with my opinions and preferences: My Be-Blog.

2. I have coined a word among my relatives/boyfriend. This is the word 'Be-Bop', I mean when they see something that it's vintage on TV, shop windows, magazines, wherever they won't ask me...'Is that a retro thing?' they will say 'Is that a Be-Bop thing? So 'Be-Bop' is very popular among us hahaha. I am so proud of them!:D

3. I am a sleepyhead.I can't watch a movie lying down on the sofa/bed...because I'll fall asleep!

4. I really love drawing, I think it's something that comes to family matters. My mum and my sister love it as well.

5. I hate Coca-Cola, its flavour is disgusting! :I

6. I had a Westie when I was a teenager. His name was Blackie and he was like other member of my family. We miss him! :(

7. I wrote about male depilation. I really hate it. I may be the only girl in the world ,but I utterly love a hairy man, they are so sexy! aww:)

8. Talking about depilation. My sister plucked my eyebrows when I was 12 years old. It was my first time and I couldn't stand the pain... I almost fainted!. Nowadays it's easier (thanks God) i'm not very hairy :D. My sister used to say to me that I looked like Groucho Marx xD

9. I am learning a new language...French was my choice. Bonjour!

10. My friend Sara calls me 'Molly' that's why I love the song 'Good Golly Miss Molly' by Little Richard, it's my ringtone :)

11. I almost always wear a hairdress. I love flowers, bows, headbands,bandanas, fascinators...Next picture, it's me when I was a child, wearing a blue huge bow :)

1. How you can describe your personal style? 

I love fashion of the 30's, 40's, 50's, early 60's and modern day Punk, Rockabilly, and Psychobilly. 

2. Your style icons? 

Bettie Page, Katharine Hepburn and Ava Gardner.

3. Your favourite celebrity? 

I don't like celebrities. They are bad icons impersonators.

4. Your favourite blogger? 

I don't have a favourite one. I recently added a blogroll on the right side of my page. Check them out!

50's Hell Bunny dresses and petticoats. 

6. Flats or heels? 

Heels for events. Flats for daily outfit.

Red matte lipstick, but I have a lot of lipglosses as well ;)

I have been in Spain for a week and a half. I will be in Dublin for the rest of the summer, because I have to work :( so I can keep my holidays at Christmas.

1. What was your last trip?
I was in Spain on holidays.

2. What is your favourite colour? 

Hmm...it's a difficult question. I think I love all of them:)

3. Do you like cooking? What is your best recipe? 

Yes, I do!. My best recipe is any kind of savory dish: Spanish omelette, burrito, pasta, paella, sushi, stew, quesadilla, pizza, tapas ...whatever hahaha however I'd love to know how to make cakes. I am terrible at that sort of stuff.

4. Do you practise any sport?

No, I don't. I am a little bit lazy...I used to go to the gym, but I left it 6 months ago.

5. Do you come back to home if you forget your mobile phone? 

No, I don't. I don't pay much attention to my mobile phone.

6. What's your personality type? 

It depends on the day...but I think I am very cheerful, I am always playing the fool :)

7. If you had the chance to go back in time, where would you go? 

50's in United States.

8. Flats or Heels? 

Heels for events. Flats for daily outfit.

9. What is your favourite hero/heroine? 

Poison Ivy.

10. What is your favourite artwork?

3. I always loved to makeup myself since I was a child...If I had known all the tools, I would have been thrilled. I used to makeup my eyes using horrible eye-shadow sponge brushes...Now I am collecting makeup brushes:)

4) I can't put up with someone is drinking water from a water bottle. That makes me feel sick. I always use a glass. I took a dislike to it.

5) I miss Spain a lot! I am looking forward to going over there on holidays!. My hometown is so sunny, the weather is so awful here...

6) I always forget things easily when I've bought them. I am a terrific shopaholic. So it's a surprise when I open my closet he,he.

7) I'm planning to get married next year in Las Vegas! Yahoo!:D
